What I like....chapter 2

Hello you all,

this week I am going to speak about my holiday in Greece. I spent in that beautiful, warm country 10 days. Well, not exactly 10 days, because the trip took us 1 day, by bus. It was organized by my school again. Like the London trip. Anybody could come. This was in 2006, the 19Th of July.

It was just as wonderful as in London. Maybe a bit better, because we weren't rushing the whole day, like going here, then going there. We had our own free time, everybody did what he/she wanted to. There was one, or two days when we had a collective programme. One day we visited the Meteoras..dunno how to spell it good. That's a place where monks are. So it's ...ah..it's hard to explain. These are some kind of temples, which are on the peak of the mountains, very high. Well, you have to know , that Greek people are very, and I mean VERY religious. Anyway, the churches looked amazing. And, we went to the "Fountain of life"....and I drank from it, so hopefully I will live for ever :)

The next day, when we had this joint programme with everybody else, it was a tour, by ship, to Turtle Island. And now imagine it, sunshine, white sand, palm trees, blue ocean. Hm...wonderful.

Oh, and another great thing. I ate Greek food. You know what that means? Yep. Octopus, clam, and stuff like that. It's not that bad at all. You had to chew it a bit better, than chicken, but it had a nice taste.

Anyway, besides these 2 days, I spent my whole day laying in the sun, on the beach, and bathing in the cold sea. And I saw a few fish, and jellyfish. They kind of scared me :) And I caught a starfish. A very small one, and a few sea urchins. Yes, I know, it's not a nice thing. Sorry, I apologize.

Anyway, all in all, it was a beautiful holiday. But for now, I am saying good bye, sleep well.
